NEW BOOK FOR EAP PROFESSIONALS: 'HELP THEM BEAT THE BOOZE'
Dated: 01/08/2011
Edmund Tirbutt, who spoke at last September's EAPA branch meeting about Alcohol and Stress in the Workplace, has launched a new book 'Help Them Beat the Booze', which provides details of revolutionary new treatment methods for alcohol addiction.
"These new treatment methods have been demonstrating staggering success rates of 78% to 92% and can enable even the most seriously addicted drinkers to return to drinking in moderation or to give up altogether without even having to exercise willpower," says Edmund.
The book, co-written with his wife Helen, refers to EAPs in great detail and is packed full of useful information that can help EAP professionals deal with individuals with drink problems and that can also help the drinker’s friends, work colleagues and families.
"The new treatment methods, which are still little known within the UK medical profession, have been arousing huge interest at talks I've done around the country, including the one at EAPA. I have seen these methods transform the lives of people I know with my own eyes and I urge EAP and occupational health professionals to start paying serious consideration to them," he says.
'Help Them Beat the Booze' is available in most Waterstones for £9.99 but EAPA members are able to order it at a 45% discount for only £5.50 via www.beatthebooze.com.
