Next meeting 15/12/09 - Learn about the latest published research into on line therapy

Sue Wright and Nadine Field, both Chartered psychologists, will talk about the latest research published in The Lancet on the use of the internet for therapy. They have just completed a 3 year random controlled trial comparing live online therapy with "treatment as usual" from a GP. The results showed that someone is 2.5 times as likely to recover with online therapy. They have also done a small study to show that this method can get people back to work.
