Job Description

Responsible for providing advice on a wide range of issues to customers over the phone, you’ll make a personalised assessment of each call. Referring customers on to appropriate professional help where necessary, you’ll also book appointments with front-line practitioners on behalf of customers. With a minimum of a diploma in counselling, you’ll have experience of telephone work either from a social work/welfare rights helpline or in a service orientated customer care environment.
An excellent communicator, you’ll be flexible, resilient and polite under pressure. An ability to help others in a professional manner is also essential.
