Psychological Needs Assessors (PNA)

Due to significant growth within our business we are recruiting Psychological Needs Assessors (Telephone Counsellors) to be based in our Glasgow office.

Our Psychological Needs Assessors (PNA) provide high quality, professional telephone screening of all incoming calls or requests for services through various sources, perform an initial Needs Assessment and provide Telephone Counselling Services escalating cases to Psychologists as appropriate or clinically directed.  You will also fulfil a Clinical Case Review service on a daily basis and in conjunction with agreed business service levels.

To be considered for these roles you must have a min of a Post Grad Diploma in counselling recognised by the BACP, 300 hours post qualification in face to face counselling, Independent Supervisory arrangement in place and previous experience of conducting Telephone Counselling.  Accreditation gained or evidence of working towards accreditation is desirable.

We operate a 24/7 support service although in the office we operate from 8am – 11.15pm and we have a variety of shifts available during these times (min 15 hrs p/w).

Due to the nature of our business all candidates must complete staff vetting procedures including Disclosure Scotland and be able to provide 5 years reference details.
